At Dad's Crafts, we've been dedicated to creating exquisite, handcrafted wooden garden features since 2020. Our journey began with a love for D.I.Y. and creativity and a family's shared appreciation for beautiful outdoor spaces. What started as a hobby in our backyard workshop has grown into a thriving business that brings joy to garden enthusiasts across the country.

We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy a relaxing garden retreat without the hassle of complex installations or lengthy and messy construction projects. That's why we've made it our mission to deliver high-quality, ready-to-use wooden garden products that are built to last and look great. From the moment you unwrap your new pond, planter, or any Dad's Crafts item, you'll be able to enjoy its beauty and functionality instantly, no work or tools required!
Our Story
In 2020, I found myself at a crossroads. As a newly single father and primary caregiver of a large family, most of whom were still living with me at home, I faced the daunting challenge of balancing being a proper dad while also providing for my family. Determined to be present for my children and secure their future, I made the bold (and scary) decision to start my own business, working from home.

Armed with a keen interest in woodworking and DIY, an eye for detail & craftsmanship and a passion for customer satisfaction, I initially offered simple planters followed by pet beds and loungers. After creating my first hexagonal planter with a built-in seat, I pondered what else it could be used for....and that's where the idea for our first raised pond was born. The design proved to be very popular (it's still one of the best sellers to date) and as word of Dad's Crafts spread, customers began to take notice of our original products and designs. Orders and requests for bespoke garden features started pouring in and we've been growing ever since.

Over the years, as Dad's Crafts has grown from a small, home-based operation to a thriving business serving garden enthusiasts across the UK (and one or two international customers!), I have kept the happiness of our customers at the centre of everything. The very best part of what I do is hearing the wonderful messages and feedback from customers of how much enjoyment they get from our products, as well as seeing the fabulous displays being created with them.

Through Dad's Crafts, I have not only created a successful business but, hopefully, also created a legacy for my children. I have shown them the power of hard work, perseverance, following one's passions and the possibilities when you take a leap of faith in yourself. I've even managed to get some of the kids onboard to help with the business (score!). The modest workshop has become a symbol of resilience, determination, and commitment to my family and my craft.

As Dad's Crafts continues to grow and evolve, I remain committed to my original vision: creating beautiful, affordable, and long-lasting garden features that bring joy and tranquility to people, homes and gardens across the country.
